Jean//phillip

Weaving a sensitive layered tale of draping and exposed silhouettes, Jean//phillip treaded on the softer side of menswear for his latest outing. Gravitating towards a color palette of earthy hues, sheer fabrics maintained a certain lightness, while their application to certain garments such as cropped pants created a daring element. Meanwhile, cinched waists blended with an apparent airiness for an element of structure. Altogether, an exercise in draping, Jean//phillip showcased a dynamic character that tackled the season with a masculine grace and ease.

Jean//phillip’s spring 2011 collection gets a second look with the label’s spring lookbook. Lending classic menswear an effortless drape, Jean//phillip dresses his man in neutrals and plays off the tension of the times.
