"Hell's Knuckle"

Seriously, how sick is this ring?
Every now and then, an accessory comes along that is just a master piece and Can't resist, its a must-have!

What am I talking about 'Alexander McQueen Ring'

This particular bauble--if you can even refer to it as such--is called the "Hell's Knuckle" a duster ring, made of gold brass. Not only is it the ultimate statement maker--wear it with a tanktop and jeans or a fitted tuxedo--but it's also from the last McQueen collection designed prior to the designer's unexpected death.
God Rest his Soul

Guess Who's got it?!

Autumn Winter 2010 Trends

I’m a big fan of autumn winter clothing so I’m always more excited to see the looks from the runway as I think I prefer my winter wears just that little bit more.
Designers from the likes of Alexander McQueen, Prada, Bottega, Rick Owens, Gucci, Dior Homme, Jil sander and Raf Simmons all presented to us Prints, Military, Fur, Chunky Knits, and Minimalism.

lets start by the prints:
Prints were key this season and could be found on the runways of McQueen, Dries and Prada. Rather than copy the head to toe look sported by McQueen use a print as a statement piece and team with other staples.

Military:
Military has been big for a few season’s now, you could go as far as saying military inspired pieces will always be classics that you can rely on. Burberry as always had a heavily military inspired show, but you could also find it in Bottega and Prada.

Fur:
Fur is a big trend this season in womenswear and it has also made it’s way in to the menswear collections. Rather than the full fur get ups seen in the Chanel womenswear collection, they were mostly seen as trims and linings and accessories on the likes of D&G, Rick Owens and McQueen.

Chunky Knits:
Similar to military inspired pieces, chunky knits have been around for a few seasons and can now be considered a winter staple for men, try opting for a patterned knit this season as seen by Gucci

Minimalism:
Like Fur, minimalism was also a trend seen in the shows. Dior Homme, Jil sander and Raf Simmons all had minimalist infused collections. Think clean lines and sharp cuts.

So here is our round up for what you should look for to be on Trend for the Autumn Winter Season.
Remember Dress to impress.

Knitwear

Chunky knits have been around for a few seasons and can now be considered a winter staple for men it is proving to be very popular this season, judging from the large amounts of it, its available at any respectable online outlet.
Design houses like Gucci and McQ brings us funky knitwear as well a new and upcoming designer called Scott McFarland his fine talents as a sculptor to mold yarn into some knitwear. The light shades of pink, the chunky knit coats and sweaters are infused with patterns of diamonds and three-dimensional texture, that give each piece a whimsical personality.

Alexander McQueen’s diffusion line, is big enough to wear as a jacket during fall/autumn and would keep you pretty toasty underneath a coat during winter

A belted cardigan that is cozy but still slim and chic

Alexander McQueen " English culture" S/11

Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton brings us her first men line inspired from the gentlemen of Savile Row and World War I.
This collection brought us trousers which were either tapered or swingy, with wide legs, leggings and cargo pockets that made a strong statements.
Personally we think that the collection would have been more creative for the House of McQueen but there is a first time for everything we support Sarah and we are sure she will keep McQueen's legacy alive.
