Qasimi PFW 2011
Rounding out the runway shows of Paris Fashion Week, the boys of Qasimi Homme took to the catwalk donning headbands and a brave face for quite the parade of modern warriors. Entitled The Empty Quarter, spring’s collection was inspired by H.H Sheikh Khalid Al Qasimi’s native the United Arab Emirates. Therefore, embracing the popular tale of East meets West, the collection married elements of both aesthetics for a smart outing. Progressed by a subtle military motif and dressed in hues of gray and brown, The Empty Quarter charmed with a sleek billing of unlined jackets, sleeveless vests and other noteworthy pieces.

Rad Hourani Fall 2010
Stripped of gender (his brand is unisex in all items FYI), Rad Hourani continues his dark gothic journey of fit and shape. Dressing the tall and skinny in a monochromatic color palette of only black, Hourani turns to texture and shape to distinguish key features in fall’s offerings. Turning the tide away from skin tight pants and meggings, outerwear gets a voluminous boost as it is transformed into a protective shield from the outside world. Within Hourani’s creative realm, a collective identity breeds a new view for menswear that escapes the cruel eye of gender norms in favor of a hardened sense of freedom. We had the Chance to attend the show last season! Here is the Video of the show closing!
