Bottega Veneta Milan S/S 2011

Tomas Maier, has decided to feel a bit relaxed. It’s spring, after all, but luckily for the
Bottega Veneta man there will still be plenty of men’s suiting to choose from for spring.
Much of the collection was baggy or crumpled, but there were instances of an athletic element, with mesh-like inserts. Indeed, the nylon, cotton, suede and leathers provided a sumptuous diversity, as did the incredibly diverse looks of the models, who were both very young and older.

Geil magazine "Save The Males"

Whatever happened to manly men on the Fashion Show's !!!!
Geil magazine chief editor Daniele Mancinetti and his fashion director Benjamin Armand addresses this case, by naming their upcoming issue "Save the Males".
Daniele explained that real males on catwalks seem to have disappeared, replaced by skinny 'womanized' teenagers carrying handbags and wearing hot pants apart from the classical Armani and Bottega Veneta man, and the beefy statuary boys of Dolce & Gabbana and DSquared2, “real males” seems to be out of fashion, condemned to hard time trying to fit in slim pants or structured jackets."
The models that have been used for this issue are Marcus Andersson, Doug Porter, Ned Shatzer, Chris Mosier and David Axell, photographed and shoot by Idris + Tony.
Watch out for this issue coming out in September 2010.
