TOD'S ‘AN ITALIAN DREAM’

For all you IPAD lovers and users Tod’s launches its second App for the iPad - ‘An Italian Dream’ - that brings users into the exclusive world of Tod’s craftsmanship and the skills that only ‘Made in Italy’ can offer as well as a unique insider look into the collaboration between Tod’s and Teatro alla Scala.



In this short film directed by Matthias Zentner and choreographed by Gianluca Shiavoni, 13 dancers from the ballet corps of Teatro alla Scala, interpret through dance the multiple steps in the creation of a Tod’s product. Dancing on Teatro alla Scala’s famous stage and throughout the theatre’s balconies and corridors, the ballet dancers from Teatro alla Scala give voice to the skillful selection of the leather; the precise hand cutting of the materials; the meticulous piecing together, and the intricate sewing of the parts that form the whole.
