Givenchykicks off the spring 2011 season early with a preview of their latest campaign launched onWWD. Lensed once more by Mert & Marcus, Stephen Thompson appears alongside one of several Tisci muses, Daphne Groeneveld.
Leopard prints and leggings, nude tones and shorts, skirts (shirt/shorts) and Jump suits, not to forget the alien mask for the ones who want to cover up. Ricardo Tisci has done it again with the house ofGivenchy this fall for us boys. Again, he is exploring past present and future, taking us to the stone age era with the animal print up to the Alien theme oxygen mask indicating what might happen in the nearby future. Completely creative, we cant wait for this collection to come out as we are huge fans (if not the number 1 fans) at Mens Memoir. Something to look forward to are the leopard print loafers.
This season for A/W at Givenchy, Creative Director Ricardo Tisci takes the mens line into a very different dimension. The concept behind the collection is pretty much taken from religious inspirations. Memories that come from the bible with Jesus and the church play a big role in this collection. We cant help but place them in our diary. (Forgive us god, for we have sinned)
